HTC has launched its new flagship One M8 and two Desire smartphones in India
First up is the HTC One M8. The new HTC flagship boasts of several new features such as Smart Sensor Hub, Motion Launch and improved HTC BoomSound. The HTC One M8 also has the much-hyped dual-camera set up.
The HTC One M8 features a 5-inch full HD display. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat with HTC Sense 6 on top. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2.5 GHz quad-core Krait CPUs and 2GB of RAM. It measures 146.36 x 70.6 x 9.35 mm.
For connectivity, the HTC One M8 supports 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX enabled, Wi-Fi, HTC Connect, micro-USB 2.0, 2G, 3G and 4G LTE (in select countries). A 2600 mAh battery powers the smartphone and is rated to deliver talk time up to 20 hours for 3G.
Other important features of the smartphone include improved HTC BoomSound, BlinkFeed, Fitbit app, Sense TV, Motion Launch and Auto Answer.
HTC Desire 210
The Desire 210 has a 4-inch WVGA screen. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor along with 512MB of RAM. It supports dual SIM (micro SIM + regular SIM).
The smartphone features a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front camera. The smartphone is powered by a 1,300 mAh battery. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 8,700.
HTC Desire 816
The HTC Desire 816 has a 5.5-inch 720p display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with a 1.6GHz quad-core CPU and Adreno 305 GPU. It has 1.5GB of RAM.
The Desire 816 has a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2, BSI sensor, 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities, and a 5MP front camera. The smartphone has 8GB of built-in storage and supports microSD slot for extra space. For connectivity, the Desire 816 supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE and WCDMA/HSPA+/4G LTE. Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct.
The smartphone also has HTC’s dual-frontal speakers and HTC BoomSound. The smartphone is powered by a 2,600 mAh battery.
The smartphone is priced at Rs. 23,990.
