Huawei launches dual-sim, Android 4.2-based Ascend G730 and Ascend Y600 smartphones for Rs 13,999 and Rs 8,999 in India.
Huawei has launched two new Android- based smartphones, the Ascend G730 and Ascend Y600, in India. The Ascend G730 and Ascend Y600 dual-sim smartphones are listed on the company's official site as well as other online e-commerce retailers for Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 8,999 respectively.
The Huawei Ascend G730 smartphone has a 5.5-inch qHD screen with 540 x 960 pixels resolution. It has a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It packs a 2300mAh Li-ion battery. The Huawei Ascend Y600 sports a smaller 5-inch display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. It is powered by a dual-core 1.3 GHz processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.
Both the Huawei Ascend G730 and Ascend Y600 offers dual-SIM with dual standby functionality and run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box. They have 4 GB of inbuilt storage expandable via microSD card slot up to 32GB. The smartphones have 5 MP rear cameras and 0.3 MP front-facing cameras for video calling. Connectivity wise the smartphones support Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth and A-GPS.
Huawei recently launched a variant to the Ascend P7, called the Ascend P7 Mini smartphone in Germany last week. The Huawei Ascend P7 mini runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box and has 1.2GHz quad-core qualcomm processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It has a 4.5-inch qHD screen, an 8 MP rear and 5 MP front camera for video calling. It has 8 GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot and packs a 2000mAh Li-Po battery.
