Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has unveiled the successor to the Q509T, dubbed Q519T, a new affordable smartphone which is priced at 599 Yuan (approximately Rs 6,100) in China. There is no information provided as to when the device will be available in India.
The new device will be available in blue, white and gold variants. The main USP of the smartphone is its massive 4000mAh battery which claims to deliver a standby time for up to 35 days.
In terms of specifications, the new smartphone features a 5-inch IPS HD display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It includes an internal storage of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
The Dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 2MP front facing camera. In terms of connectivity, the device includes 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro-USB, LTE and Bluetooth.
Earlier this month, ZTE aunched the Nubia Z9 mini in India at Rs 16,999. The smartphone sports a 5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels of resolution. The device runs Android Lollipop with a layer of Nubia UI. It comes powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and coupled with 2GB RAM. On the storage front, it gets 16GB onboard space and microSD card support of up to 128GB. The device is also loaded with 16MP AF rear snapper with LED flash support and 8MP front-facing camera. A 2,900mAh battery promising 43 hours of talk time completes the package.
