Celkon has launched a new affordable smartphone in the market dubbed Celkon Campus Q405 at a price of Rs 3,199 in India. The device is exclusively available via Snapdeal. It will be available in four variants namely white, gold, blue and black.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 4-inch WVGA IPS display with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution. The Celkon Campus Q405 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 512MB RAM. The device includes an 4GB inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
The dual-sim smartphone runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. On the camera front, the Campus Q405 comes equipped with a 3.2MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 1.3MP front facing camera. In terms of connectivity, the device includes 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. The smartphone also packs in a 1500mAh battery.
Commenting on the launch, Y Guru, Chairman and Managing Director, Celkon Mobiles, said, “We are once again innovating with our latest offering Campus Q405 with a one-of-its kind proposition. Having launched many offerings for the retail market, we are launching Q405 exclusively for the e-tail market. We aim to bring forth a smart phone for every individual’s need and the new Q405 is a step in this direction.”
